Asetek Waterchill Complete Kit
Asetek is a Danish company which was started at 1997. The company has specialized in PC's extreme cooling. Asetek has been known from it's Vapochill (compressor cooling)-cases which have earned a nice reputation all over the world because of their capability and quality. Asetek has close co-operation with other big IT-companies like Abit. When you add this with high-quality engineers and designers you get a great compatibility and easy functionality.
Asetek expanded its range of products at this years CeBit show. Now they are working also with water cooling. The water cooling system got a logical name, WaterChill. The system we received is the second revision of Waterchill Complete Kit which for example provides a better VGA-block and equal sized pipes. The kit is planned to cool the video controller, the north bridge and the processor. The kit is compatible with both AMD and Intel platforms. WaterChill contains also many other variations than the Complete Kit with 3 blocks. Asetek published WaterChill Power Kit whichs belongs to the "top". It contains a two fan (120mm Papst) radiator. Here in Finland this set costs a bit under 300€ and it's sold by Coolputer.
The Package and its inside
WaterChill came in a quite big cardboard box with ab Asetek logo. First I saw a colourful WaterChill Support Forum advert. Under a covering stuffing level was the product itself. The package seemed strong and well measured. The blocks were packed in plastic bags, a good solution. The inside gave me a good first expression for what was to come.
After I finally got everything opened and out of the box, it was a small problem to get everything in one picture :) You can see that there is quite a lot of stuff. At first you might think that it includes a load of extra stuff, but this image will be proved wrong during the article. Precisely the kit includes the next parts and equipments:

A closer glance at the numerous amount of installing stuff could be nice at this point. At the front you can see two identical bags which contain the attachings for the smaller blocks (NB&GPU). Further back you can see the bag containing the CPU's attachings. A nice and quite funny detail is that every little plastic bag contains a WaterChill sticker :) Down at the front right is the bag with the fan's screws, pump's attachings and the radiator's screws so that the assembling to the case would be as easy as possible. The small white bottle contains alga blocking liquid and the black unit is the pump's and tank's attaching piece.
When talking about the owner's manual you can change the word manual into book!:) 43 pages contain almost everything from installing to after-sale services. Especially the kits installation is written very closely step by step. The covers are protected with plastic foils which increase the books lifetime. Only language used is English, which is quite natural compared to the size of the book which is quite natural compared to the size of the book.
