First impressions
Camera is small, VERY small. I suppose spy's camera should be. You probably cannot figure out the 'real' size from pictures. This gadget has five buttons(Power, Mode, Delete, Reset and Shutter), little LCD screen that shows the number of taken pictures and also the size of pictre, or the video cam mode. The size of this camera is so small, that with big hands you might run in to trouble handling this device. There is a neckstrap included in package, so that makes things a bit easier. GSmart is a sturdy piece however, don't let the looks fool you.

General
This device works also as a webcam and you can also take a 3 minute video clip with it. There is practically two resolutions: 640x480 and 1280x960. 1600x1200 is just software interpolated. There is five different shooting modes: Fine(1600x1200), High(1280x960), Low(640x480), Video Clip(320x240) and Self-Timer(10s delay, 1280x960). Camera has 16MB of integrated memory which is quite adequate: Fine 36 pics, High 54 pics, Low 216 pics, Video clip 90 seconds, Self-Timer 54 pics.

Manual
This device is very easy to operate and manual is a A3 sized piece of paper that has instructions on five different languages. Instructions are quite explicit and it doesn't take long to figure out what to do.

Drivers
Drivers have to be installed before even connecting the camera to computer. I installed the drivers, restarted the computer and plugged the usb cable to PC and camera. Windows installed the drivers correctly and the camera worked like a charm. When the camera is connected to computer you can't take normal pictures whit it, it is automatically on webcam mode when connected. Though you can take snapshots with webcam, but the quality is...

Battery
Frist time when connected to computer the camera has to be loaded over three hours, after this two and half hours is enough. The attery is built-in and normal user probably can't change it. The camera is quite easy to open up, just open one screw and pop it open. Altough I don't recommend open it up. The battery is Lithium-Ion and I think it is quite durable. When power is weak, a warning sing appears to LCD-screen, after this camera goes to standby state to preserve images. It can save the images for two days, after this the memory becomes empty. There is no other way to load battery than USB.
