Doom 3 (OpenGL)

Doom 3 is FPS-game developed by id software. Technically Doom 3 has been taken quite far, so to speak, mainly because of it's real-time effects including lights and shadows. These effects are quite of a burden for today's graphic cards. In tests settings were on high quality with 1024x768 resolution while running timedemo1.

Call of Duty (OpenGL)

Call of Duty is a WW2-situated FPS which exploits modified RTCW/Quake 3 engine. The game itself is very impressive and quick especially in multiplayer mode, which is a good feature today. Test settings were maximized (extra) with 1024x768 resolution.

Enemy Territory (OpenGL)

Enemy Territory is also a WW2-based FPS and, like CoD, it is exploiting RTCW/Quake 3 engine. ET is multiplayer-only game, but it's freely downloadable via www. Game settings were set on extra with 1024x768 resolution.
