Stand and the adjustments

Trimon's stand looks sturdy and it really feels like it when adjusting the display. Feature list of the stand contains all the candy you can get with adjustments to height and inclination with swivel and pivot.

Vertically the screen has 12,5 centimeters of adjustment margin. In the lowest position the screens bottom edge is lifted about eight centimeters from the table surface and in the highest position the bottom edge of the screen is nearly twenty centimeters off the desks surface.

The display panel can be inclined about thirty degrees upwards from the upright position.

Display can be also swiveled to both sides about forty degrees so you don't need to lift up the display to turn it.

And as a bonus Zalman has also included the pivot-functionality on the screen. With pivot you can rotate the display panel ninety degrees clockwise. The 22-inch screen looks pretty spectacular when it has been rotated and pivot is a really handy feature as you can fit one A4 on the screen in one on one size with a nice margins that can be used to place toolbars and other things in softwares.

Connections

All connections of the display are placed at the bottom of the screen panel and the connecting of the wires is an easy job. On the right corner the screen has a lonely power connector. Moving towards the left corner there is an analog d-sub-, digital dvi- and two 3.5mm sound connectors. The right 3.5mm audio plug is meant for using the displays internal speakers and the left connector is for external audio speakers or headphones. Also the built-in speakers are muted when there is a plug in place on the left connector.

On the stand there are no cable holders where to attach the cables so the users need to wrap them up by themselves. A small cable holder for example behind the stand would be welcome as the cables lay around in a pretty ugly way especially when using pivot.

Buttons

All seven buttons are located at the right side of the screen and they are usable even if the user has bigger fingers. The buttons are a bit lifted off the surface and they make a clear small sound when they are pressed.

It is also possible to attach two computers to the display at the same time and the signal source selection between dvi and d-sub is made with the MODE-button.

The power light located under the explanation texts of the buttons is orange when the display is in power save mode and it lights up in green when the display is turned on. The power light is nicely dim and it shouldn't bother anyone.
