Conclusion
Zalman has expanded their product selection from coolers to other areas and the entry to making displays is not a bad performance. ZM-M220W is a good quality display for normal use. Zalman introduces the 3D Stereo feature to customers and it also works well. The display is aggressively priced as a 3D display and with the technologies that Zalman uses there is no the ghost images or headaches for the users. As a normal display the Zalman ZM-M220W is too pricy and the 3D gaming with it also limits the usable equipment and drops, for example, graphic cards from ATI away from your rig.
Zalman has successfully created a working concept to 3D display market where it can control the market on its own at least for a while in the consumer products class. Due the price tag Zalman Trimon ZM-M220W won't probably be the bestseller but there is no reason why it could not be a part of hardware enthusiasts gaming rig. If someone is willing to pay nearly six hundred Euros for a good display the choice will probably be a 22-24" high-end screen or two 22" normal priced screens. On the other hand the 3D functionality what Zalman introduces is a really fancy thing and it adds a lot of intensity and experience to gaming.
Compared to normal screen Zalman costs a bit too much and using the 3D function in gaming it restraints the other hardware in your rig so much that it doesn't get the Editors Choise -award from Skenegroup. Zalman Trimon ZM-M220W is a really nice proof of concept what can be done with technology nowadays and it just adds so much experience in gaming so the display (and the 3D Stereo -technology) is awarded with Skenegroup Awesome-award!
