Skenegroup on ottanut kayttöönsä viidestä eri arvonimestä koostuvan järjestelmän, jonka avulla on tarkoitus tuoda lukijoille esille testattujen tuotteiden parhaita puolia. Uuden arvonimijärjestelmän ansiosta tuote voi saada tunnustusta parhaista puolistaan, vaikkei se olisikaan aivan Skene Awardin (entinen Editor's choice) arvoinen.
Uudessa järjestelmässä 'Editor's Choice'-arvonimi vaihtoi nimeään 'Skene Award'-arvonimeksi. Samalla sitä nostettiin arvoasteikossa entistä ylemmäksi, jolloin vain markkinoiden ehdottomasti parhaimmat, täydellisyyttä hipovat tuotteet ovat sen arvoisia. Lisäksi järjestelmään lisättiin neljä uutta alempiarvoista arvonimeä: 'Editor Recommends', 'Overclockers Choice', 'Cheap Choice' sekä 'Sleepers Choice'. Skenegroup has decided to start using a new marking system which consists five different awards. The main purpose is to bring up the best sides of the reviewed products. Because of the new marking system, the product is able to be awarded for its best features even though it might not be worth the Skene Award (former Editor's Choice).
In the new system the 'Editor's Choice' award changed it's name to 'Skene Award'. The status is brought up a bit , and now only the best and perfect products are worth it. The system also got four other awards such as: 'Editor Recommends', 'Overclockers Choice', 'Cheap Choice' and 'Sleepers Choice'. The more specific explanations can be found below.
'Skene Award' on entisen 'Editor's Choice' arvonimen korvaaja. Uudistuksen myötä 'Skene Award'-arvonimen arvo on kasvanut entisestään. 'Skene Award' arvonimen saadakseen testatun tuotteen on edustettava kaikilta ominaisuuksiltaan markkinoiden ehdotonta huipputasoa. Hyviä, muttei aivan 'Skene Awardin' arvoisia tuotteita varten järjestelmästämme löytyy 'Editor Recommends'-arvonimi.
'Skene Award' is the replacer for the former 'Editor's Choice'. Now it is even harder to get because it requires that all features represent the absolute top of the market. For good products, but not worth 'Skene Award', we have the 'Editor Recommends' award.
'Editor Recommends' arvonimi on tarkoitettu tuotteille, jotka täyttävät pääosin niille asetetut vaatimukset ja odotukset sekä toimivat hyvin ja luotettavasti. 'Editor Recommends' arvonimen saanut tuote sijoittuu luokassaan keskitason yläpuolelle, yleisesti aivan parhaiden huipputason tuotteiden tuntumaan. 'Editor Recommends' arvonimellä palkitusta tuotteesta saa kuitenkin löytyä muutamia, pääosin pieniä heikkouksia.
'Editor Recommends' Award is for good products, which mainly fill in the wanted requirements and expectations and also works well and are trustworthy. 'Editor Recommends' product is above the middle class and close to the best products. An 'Editor Recommends' product may have some mostly small weaknesses.
'Overclocker's Choice' arvonimellä palkittu tuote on omiaan ylikellotuskäyttöön. Siitä on huomattavaa apua tai etua ylikellotuksessa, tai ylikellotukseen liittyvässä toiminnassa. Esimerkiksi jäähdytysratkaisuiden pääpainona on tehokkuus eikä niinkään esimerkiksi tuotteen tuottama melu.
'Overclockers Choice' is for overclocking as the name refers. The product rises the overclockability or helps actions acceded to overclocking. For example with cooling devices the main word is efficiency, not for example the noise it makes.
'Cheap Choice' arvonimi on kohdistettu tuotteille jotka keventävät kukkaroa normaalia keskitason tuotetta vähemmän. 'Cheap Choice'-tuotteen varustelu ja ominaisuudet eivät ole välttämättä samalla tasolla vastaavien arvokkaampien tuoteiden kanssa, mutta tästä huolimatta kyseessä on laadultaan ja viimeistelyltään vähintään keskitason tuote. Mistään heikkolaatuisesta pilipalituotteesta 'Cheap Choicen' kohdalla ei siis ole kyse, ja uskommekin vakaasti että sellaisen ostamalla saat rahoillesi erinomaisen vastineen!
'Cheap Choice' award is for products which are more reasonable priced than the normal middle class ones. 'Cheap Choice' products features might not be the same as the expensive ones, but it still represents at least middle class with it's quality. All in all when we're talking about 'Cheap Choice' it doesn't mean any inferior-quality product, and we believe that this kind of product will give you a good counterpart for you little money.

'Sleepers Choice' award is for products which are one of the most quiet in the market. It should be so quiet that sleeping with it is possible and causes no problems. In many cases the reviewer has slept a couple of nights with the product turned on to confirm that the product is worth the 'Sleepers Choice'!:)
